Me encantaría compartir con vosotros mi maravillosa experiencia en Andalucía.
Ha sido mi primer viaje a España y por supuesto a esta región, tan desconocida para mi.
Fui yo la persona afortunada que ganó un premio junto con Anne, una compañera de trabajo de nuestra empresa , “@leisure”, por tener gran número de reservas en España, que estaba promocionándose.
Esta es la historia de todo lo ocurrido: Vinimos aquí para una semana y durante este corto período de tiempo nos reunimos con increíbles, acogedores y amistosos propietarios de casas rurales en donde nos invitaron a alojarnos.
Cuando aterrizamos en Málaga exhaustas por la temprana hora de salida desde Holanda, toda la fatiga desapareció.
El cálido sol y la pureza y el cielo sin nubes nos hicieron sentir de inmediato que las vacaciones acaban de comenzar.
Teníamos, por supuesto, el (in)útil GPS con el que ser capaces de orientarnos nosotras mismas hasta la primera casa donde íbamos: Casa Rural Molino los Justos en Fuentes de Cesna a unos 110 km desde el aeropuerto de Málaga. Tuvimos algunas dificultades con el manejo del GPS así que dedidimos usar el mapa en su lugar, lo que resultó incluso mejor que el que nos mostraba en tiempo real la zona que atravesábamos.
Fue todo muy bien pues el estado de las carreteras era muy bueno y todas las direcciones estaban muy bien indicadas. Incluso para localizar las pequeñas aldeas remotas, la gente fue muy amable y se tomó su tiempo para ayudarnos.
Así pues encontramos nuestro camino hacia nuestro primer destino y decidimos olvidar el uso de GPS, y durante nuestra estancia usamos sólo el mapa, con el que trabajamos muy bien.
Nuestras dos primeras noches en Molino los Justos fueron preciosas. La casa, una antigua fábrica fue renovada por sus agradables propietarios Paco y Eva y la hermana de Eva, María, quien es una maravillosa cocinera.
Es una casa llena de carácter donde el propietario intentó conservar todos los rasgos posibles de la estructura original y mezclando en algunas ocasiones toques modernos, como el jacuzzi.
Esta casa podría ser el perfecto lugar para una reunión familiar o para empresas que necesitan tener un lugar donde hacer una reunión y disfrutar de ocio al mismo tiempo. El área que la rodea es de gran belleza natural.
Hay conexión a internet, restaurante y, por supuesto, televisión, instalación de Hi-Fi , tres piscinas y oportunidades para caminar. Por la noche al aire libre se pueden observar las estrellas y disfrutar de la tranquilidad del lugar. Tienen capacidad para grandes grupos y aún así tener su espacio privado, dada las numerosas habitaciones de diferentes capacidades.
Nuestra segunda casa fue Casería el Pozo, situada en Huétor Tájar, a unos 50 Km desde el primer pueblo. Situada en la zona Este de Loja. El propietario nos atendió en francés, el señor Juan Pérez, persona muy hospitalaria y atareada, llena de energía y dispuesta a hacer todo lo posible para ofrecer la oportunidad a toda persona de descubrir esa magnífica región.
Su casa es muy confortable, espaciosa y un lugar con buen gusto para quedarse. Está equipada con una piscina y un maravilloso jardín, lleno de todo tipo de plantas y flores. Se puede disfrutar sentándose a la sombra en su terraza durante los calurosos días de verano. Incluso aquí, existe la posibilidad de alquilar un apartamento para dos personas independiente del resto de la casa, y tener tu propia entrada privada.
Por la noche, se disfruta del silencio y las estrellas, lo que, por supuesto, da un especial toque romántico a la estancia.
Desde allí nos dirigimos a nuestro tercer alojamiento: Cuevas la Granja en Benalúa, al norte de Guadix, a una distancia de unos 90 Km desde el anterior alojamiento. Nuestras anfitrionas, Silvia Marcos y Maribel Requena fueron muy agradables.
Son muy típicas las construcciones talladas en la montaña, con un aislamiento natural: fresco en verano y cálido en invierno. Es una solución muy original y nos da una idea de cómo se vivía en el pasado, aunque ahora podemos disfrutar de modernas comodidades.
El panorama en la noche es de nuevo magnífico. Se tiene una magnífica vista sobre Sierra Nevada en el lejano horizonte.
Este alojamiento está equipado con piscina y restaurante, y también se pueden organizar buenas reuniones y fiestas. En la zona se puede visitar una bodega de vinos, una fábrica de cerámica, baños termales... Todas las distancias son muy accesibles.
Nuestra última casa, Molinos de Padul, estaba a 86 km de la anterior. Nuestra anfitriona fue aquí Teresa Sánchez Ortega, que nos atendió en francés.
Era una casa pequeña pero acogedora, preparada para 4 personas, aunque es más adecuada para una familia de cuatro miembros que para dos parejas, sobre todo si le gusta tener amplio espacio, y si por el mal tiempo hay que estar más tiempo dentro de la estancia.
Está equipada con una bonita piscina, donde se puede disfrutar de la tranquilidad del lugar. Este alojamiento está muy cerca de Granada, lo que es muy práctico y, por otra parte no está muy lejos de la costa (alrededor de una hora y media). Gracias a las buenas carreteras, se puede conducir a una buena velocidad.
Hemos estado una semana en la que hemos hecho alrededor de 1.000 kilómetros. Es un país donde hay mucho para ver y descubrir, en la naturaleza, el paisaje, la historia y la cultura.
Tuvimos la oportunidad gracias a la ayuda y la amabilidad de la asociación: "Turismo Rural de Granada" y los propietarios de los alojamientos de realizar este viaje inolvidable.
Gracias a ellos, pudimos asistir a un baile flamenco, descubrir la famosa "Alhambra", nadar en un baño termal y visitar el hermoso museo: "Parque de la Ciencias", también en Granada
Creo que nuestros clientes deberían saber más sobre Andalucía y, sobre todo, porque ello les podría aportar una gran variedad a su estancia. Hermosas playas y posibilidades de deportes de invierno (Sierra Nevada), sin olvidar el golf, ciclismo, paseos a caballo y senderismo."

Dear readers,
I would love to share with you my wonderful experience in Andalusia. This was my very first trip to Spain and of course to this region, so far unknown to me.
I was just the very lucky person to win a price together with Anne, a colleague from work.
We won it within our company, @leisure by placing the most booking in Spain, which was on promotion.
It was going to happen: we were going for a week and during that short period of time we were going to meet amazing, welcoming and friendly owners of holiday houses where we were invited to stay.
When we landed in Malaga exhausted by the very early departure from the Netherlands, all fatigue disappeared. The warm sun and the purity and the cloudless sky made you immediately feel that your holidays have just started.
We had, of course, the (un)famous GPS to be able to orientate ourselves to the first house where we were going to: Casa Rural, Molino los Justos in Fuentes de Cesna at around 110 Km from the airport of Malaga. We had some difficulties in handling the GPS from the office so we decided to instead use the map which was even better as it showed us at the same time the area we'd pass through. We had a lot of very well maintained highways and all the directions were very well indicated. Even when we would get into small remote villages, people were very kind and took their time to help us.
So yes, we found our way to our first destination and we decided to forget the GPS and use during our stay only the map which worked very well for us.
Our first two night in Molino los Justos, were beautiful. The house, which was an old factory, had been renovated by his very nice owners Paco and Eva and Eva’s sister Maria, who is by the way a wonderful cook. It is a house full of character where the owner tried to keep as many features as possible of the original structure and mixed sometimes with some modern touches like a Jacuzzi. This house could be the perfect place for a family reunion or for companies that need to have a place where they can gather for a meeting and leisure at the same time. The area around is all beautiful nature. There is an internet connection, a restaurant, and of course a television, Hi-Fi installation to party, three swimming pools and opportunities for walks. At night you are outside staring at the stars and enjoying the quietness of the place. People can be here in big group and still have their private space to redraw because of the numerous bedrooms at different capacities of people.
Our second house was Caseria el Pozo, situated at Huetor Tajar, at a distance of about 50 Km from the first villa. East side to Loja. The owner, Mister Juan Perez and who’s hart goes for Andalusia is a very busy and welcoming person. Full of energy and willing to do everything to give the opportunity to people to discover that magnificent region. He speaks by the way French.
His house is a very comfortable, spacious and tasteful place to stay at. It is equipped with a swimming pool and a wonderful garden, full of all kinds of herbs and flowers. You can enjoy sitting on the shaded terrace during the hot summer days. Even here, you have the possibility to rent a two persons one room apartment, independent of the rest of the house. You will have your own private entrance.
At night, you can enjoy the silence and the stars, which brings, of course, always a romantic touch to your stay.
From there we headed to our third place of stay: Cuevas la Granja, in Benalúa, north of Guadix. It was at a distance of about 90 Km from the second house. Our hosts were the very nice Mrs Silvia Marcos and Maribel Requena.
This very typical constructions carved in the mountains are a natural source of isolation: cool during summers and warm in winters. It is a very original idea. It gives you an idea about how it was in the very old days, except that we now enjoy our modern facilities.
The view at night is again magnificent. You have a superb view on the Sierra Nevada in the far horizon.
This lodge is equipped with a swimming pool and a restaurant, where also parties can be organised. In the area you can visit a cave with very nice wines, a ceramic factory, and thermal bathes. All at very reachable distances.
Our last house, Molinos de Padul, was at a distance of 86 km of the precedent one. Our host was Teresa Sanchez Ortega. She is fluent French.
It was a small but cosy little house. It is a 4 persons house but more suitable for a family of four than two couples. If you like to have ample space, this might be slightly small especially in bad weather when you need to stay in.
It is equipped with a very nice swimming pool and again you will enjoy the quietness of the place. We found it very close to Granada, which is very practical and on the other hand is not very far to the coast (about an hour and a half). Because of the highways, you can drive at a pleasant speed.
We have stayed for a week where we drove just above 1000 Km. It is a country where there is a lot to see and to discover in nature, landscape, history and culture.
We had the chance with the help and kindness of the organization: “Turismo Rural de Granada” and the house owners to realise this unforgettable trip.
Thanks to them, we were able to assist at a Flamingo dance, to discover the famous "Alhambra", to swim in a thermal bath and to visit the beautiful museum: "Parque de la Ciencias" also in Granada.
I do believe that our clients should know more about Andalusia and especially that it could bring a big variety to their stay. Beautiful beaches and winter sport possibilities (Sierra Nevada) not to forget to talk about golf, biking, horse riding and hiking.
